My Favorite Production Designers

I've worked with and for many talented people. From these individuals I gather inspiration and steal their best ideas. I'd like to thank them all and let you know who a few of them are. I update this from time to time.

Deb Riley

Game of Thrones production designer Deborah Riley is a wonderful human that I was fortunate enough to decorate two features for before becoming a Production Designer myself. She'd worked on an Oscar-winning movie, attended the same stage school as Cate Blanchett and Mel Gibson, and, aged 26, was responsible for art directing the Sydney Olympics closing ceremony.

Tom Duffield

Tom Duffield is an American art director and production designer. Duffield worked as an art director on a number of early Tim Burton films, and won great acclaim as production designer on Ed Wood, which is one of my favorite films of the 1990's.

John Paino

I worked with John on a TV Pilot called Second Sight. He is a brilliant and detailed designer who is as patient as he is professional. He's know for his work Emmy Award Winning work  for Television as well as the Oscar Award Winning Film, Dallas Buyers Club.

Ina Mayhew

Ina is a New York-based production designer known for her work with directors Spike Lee and Tyler Perry. She studied fine arts at SUNY Purchase and traveled in Africa before completing a technical theater degree at the Parsons School of Design. I was her Set Decorator for three seasons of television for the show Queen Sugar on the OWN Network.
